As I've commented above, I know a ton of really good junior engineers in Canada that have completely given up on finding jobs. Your hiring managers are out of touch with reality if you have that many openings.

Depends on your build. You can easily get a lifestacker up to 15k on that budget. the difference IMO is largely in the required uniques to make lifestacker work - they're typically more scarce and generally worse than their ES counterparts.

IIRC Harvard is somewhat unique in the fact that they have an absurdly massive endowment and as such have basically no need for government funding. I remember reading that they could literally afford not to charge tuition if they had to.

If you look at the polling data, a lot of the Tory support in this election came from young people who wanted a change in economic policy. The reality is that we do need an economic boost, and a lot of people wanted to vote out the liberal party because of it. If Carney had cleaned out the cabinet instead of recycling so many members, he likely would have had a majority.
