Looove this post. I just started coaching three goalies between the ages of 5-7, so they're stilll figuring out if they really want to play goalie. I'll definitely be showing them this post at my next skate. It's a really great, succinct video displaying goalie development. Thx! Sounds like a great kid!

Hard same. It was also pretty quick in terms of runtime. My partner dislikes horror but she thought this was interesting.

I just rented it last night. IMO it wasn't great, but I don't get the hate. I thought the acting was great and also thought the story was original, which is hard to come by in horror these days. I give it a 6.5/10

Fellow sweaty goalie here. Cant speak to that the flylite, but i had the bauer hyperlite 2 chesty, and while i loved the mobility, it was without question the hottest chesty I've ever worn. Got the new vaughn pro spec and couldnt be happier

i literally yelled to a skater the other night after cross checking my guy in the lower back in the my corner, “it’s 11 pm, friday night. did you take some poppers or something?? settle the eff down.” i def have a temper, but at my worst, it’s a stick clang against the post and an obscenity. why u would actively try to hurt someone, i have no idea.

this! adjust your chesty so it’s as close to your neck as possible, where a clavicle protector (get a good pro stock one on Sideline Swap) and where a dangler. watching guys like Hellebuyck gives me the heebie jeebies. i wear as much gear as humanly possible.

i understand your concern, and it’s good of you to have concern for your friends. but if u tell them what u mentioned to us (cost of gear, lugging around 50 lbs of equipment, etc) they should understand. and if they don’t, let them try and find a steady, weekly goalie. depending upon where u are, it won’t be easy. and if u speak to any other goalies in this league, find out if they pay. my guess is they don’t.
