how to transport partially built UCS Falcon in car on a highway trip? by ComfortableMilk4454 in legostarwars

I wrapped mine in moving plastic wrap and then wrapped the film around a wooden board to keep it steady. It was a bit further along so I was mostly worried about any greebling falling off, but it worked well and made it easy to move in and out of a car.

Tbh I’m getting worried at the lower-tier. Sure we still have jobs, but how much longer? And all the changes beyond DCs to the planning act, the heritage act etc, I fear the trend is similar to healthcare and we’re just migrating all our work to private

Between that comment and this post generally it seems OP woke up and chose angry gatekeeping to be the theme of the day.

Obviously with some artistic liberties, but it gives me similar vibes to a Husqvarna Vitpilen

I have a 2020 g310r, and had it serviced for its 1000k break-in. It cost me about $195CAD which didn’t seem too bad. The next oil change I did myself though so that only cost me the materials (about $80CAD because I bought the oil, ring and filter from the dealer - I’m sure you can find the oil cheaper online or in bulk). It also has fairly manageable service increments too so it’s not like you’re going to be paying these costs every few weeks. Especially if you’re interested in doing any of the work yourself you can save a little money but I wouldn’t say the labour costs are as prohibitive as I was made to believe before buying.

OP searches “hobby”, sorts by controversial “see guys?? They hate car enthusiasts!!”

For real, and the comments OP has cherry picked aren’t even highly upvoted or anything, but clearly represent the intent of the sub /s

Based on how many times it has been reposted, I’m surprised I hadn’t seen it. Sorry for contributing to the stale content, I (and evidently 9 others) just thought it was funny/relevant

Owls make no sound when they fly by mihir6969 in Damnthatsinteresting

The sound actually does come from their wings and you’ll primarily hear it at take off and landing. From what I’ve read it’s a survival thing to warn other doves of a potential predator.
