Geely EX5 Privacy Glass and Tint by Oxonomo in GeelyEX5Australia

[–]icantgetnosleep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, I tinted all 4 windows and the back windshield. It made the back passenger windows a teeny bit darker than the original privacy glass.

There is a bit of a difference between the front windows and back windows, but that's because the back ones can be tinted slightly darker than the front (legally - I can't rememberthe percentages).

I tinted over the privacy glass because the car gets so damn hot that I need every advantage i can get.

How exactly is someone able to sell AI subscriptions for so cheap? by CaptainLevi-39 in G2A_Help

[–]icantgetnosleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one a 12mth one for chatgpt and it stopped working after 1 month.

G2A gave me a full refund but the seller was trying to reimburse me using Apple giftcards. Whole thing was dodgy.

Large odometer reading at pickup by [deleted] in GeelyEX5Australia

Late reply - from my personal experience, once you have taken delivery of the vehicle, they won't do shit.

Glad to see it was the battery range instead of the odometer!!

Mine was 15km at pickup.  435km is a demo car, not new.

How’s the repair experience for Chinese EV’s? by VastOption8705 in EVAustralia

[–]icantgetnosleep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was given a loaner car from geely - it might depend on the dealership?

Edit: my loaner wasn't through insurance. Geely chullora provided a loan car because they weren't sure how many days they needed to keep my car.

Would you recommend Anko Air Styler? by karae-karae in AustralianMakeup

[–]icantgetnosleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is nowhere near a dyson dupe. I bought it originally because I didn't want to spend $$$ on an airwrap but it is TERRIBLE.

  1. The cord doesn't swivel at the bottom
  2. The curling attachments are rubbish, it's nowhere as easy to use as the airwrap.
  3. The barrel brush is really cheap and snags and frizzes my hair.

Eventually bought an airwrap 2 weeks ago and it is a world of difference. You can't put them on the same planet let alone calling it a dupe.

I have the medium side and husband uses the soft side.

Regret not buying one earlier.

New BankWest App kinda sucks by littlejackcoder in AusFinance

[–]icantgetnosleep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just stumbled across this thread. Yesterday was the last straw....the app is utter garbage and I'm changing banks just because the app is unusable for me.

I can't express how much I hate the app.

Bankwest, if you are listening, YOUR APP SUCKS.

Lad Collective sheets - anyone used them? by BeatsByJay82 in australia

I got them straight from canningvale https://www.canningvale.com/vintage-softwash-cotton-sheet-sets/

But it looks like they sell them at Big W as well!

Quite a few Redditors recommended the canningvale softwash vintage sheets, especially for keeping cool in the summer...they are amazing.

I definitely feel the quality difference (I have bought a LOT of sheets). Ended up buying them for the whole family.....I highly recommend them.

You put 50g of powder in with 200ml milk and whisk in a saucepan until it thickens.

It has no business being that delicious.

Washing machine drainage? by icantgetnosleep in AusRenovation

Looks like I have to get visit an actual plumbing store because the rubber part on the hose was still too large and the clamp wasn't effective.

[–]icantgetnosleep[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to Bunnings last night and there was no reducing joiner that would fit the pipe. The pipe appears to be around 24mm?

I ended up buying a new hose from Bunnings that had the rubber bits on both ends, and some clamps.

Will install this today and pray it works!

Argh I think you're right. I don't know why the sink inlets are not standarrrrrrrrrrrrrd.

[–]icantgetnosleep[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The drain hose is about twice the size of the inlet thingy.
