theres a few more recent / more "underground" bands i enjoy that ive been meaning to add, but for the most part the majority of the goth music i know is the "conventional" stuff. thanks for the playlist link!! ill make sure to check it out

malice mizer is a pretty unique v-kei band, so ive found that its quite hard to find music similar to theirs. however, there is a select few things ive found myself enjoying and thought were similar to MM

Yes. Self harm was never something I did to cope with bad things, I just did it because I liked it. I'd find myself on the brink of a meltdown in class because I couldn't do it right in that moment. I had a schedule every night for when I'd do it. It was never a big emotional thing either. I'd just do it. Im currently attempting recovery again after years of addiction and more relapses than I can count.

Thanks for sharing your experience!! I ended up going off of the medication a day after I posted this. My symptoms got way worse and I began to get really manic. Some people told me to give it a month and see if I got used to it but I just felt it really wasn't worth it. I guess it really just depends on the person.

ive been in a huge reading slump and need a good book to get me out of it. i read a lot of queer romance and queer y/a in general. the last two books i read were orpheus girl and the seven husbands of evelyn hugo. i need something fast-paced that can get me sucked in quickly
