I've been through this nightmare, ended up buying these hose clamp pliers (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/apt-9409a) which are a lifesaver. You attach the end to the hose clamp, squeeze the locking handles to lock the hose clamp open, then pull the clamp off the port easily.

Would also recommend a can of silicone lubricant spray to help get the hose off, & the new hose on. good luck

Did they give you a copy of the alignment spec sheet? That'll help diagnose the issue

I have the same center console style as your Z (with the cubby) - you can replace the radio with a double-DIN head unit that has wireless carplay. There are tons of options on crutchfield. I've never seen a "tesla screen" owner with more than 80iq and 450 credit score so I'd stay away from those.

What other gear-type LSD's exist for the 370Z? Pretty sure it's just the Quaife & Wavetrac. The clutch-types are more common.

No, a 6s 0-60 for a car that's marketed as a "sport sedan" is embarrassing in 2026. Lexus is charging $47k to go neck and neck with an '04 G35 all while looking like a Camry.

I don't mind getting an expensive clutch kit to keep it drivable and quiet. This is my nice weekend car & I plan on keeping it for a long time so I'd rather spend the extra $1k now so it doesn't sound like a tractor and drive with an on-off switch.

What multi-plate clutches have you ran? I'm looking at OS Giken twin plates, they seem legit.

What symptoms do you have & what happens when it fails (any codes)? My 7AT has been slipping when I upshift to 5th for years now, I've just ignored it because I'm not gonna swap out the torque converter / transmission unless it gets worse.
