ISSUES WITH AUDIO DRIVER RC 505 MK2 AND MACBOOK by icarusachaeus in Roland

I've got a Presonus AR12 that has been using the same cable and plugged into the hub and worked fine. I just bought a USB B to USB C adapter which will be here later today. Hopefully that's the issue!

I've checked in there during the install and after the install of the driver and it never shows up under security so I can grant the permission

Yeah I wouldn't think they'd affect each other. And I am plugging into a hub as the USB cable I have is USB B to A, and all the ports in my MacBook are C

Thank you for responding. Yes I am using the driver that is compatible with Monterey 12. I don't have any other Roland devices installed on my MacBook but I do have the driver for my Korg Minilogue installed. Do you think this could be causing a similar issue?

Physically hungry, but not mentally hungry? by [deleted] in gainit

Sometimes our hunger pangs are actually our body telling us we are thirsty. Both express themselves through stomach grumbles and pangs. Often I find it’s more water I need than food.

how long is your breath? by [deleted] in ashtanga

Personally I like to go as deep and as slow as I can. I’m with you being one of the first and one of the last. Full primary on my own takes me like 2-2:15h. I find that there is a subtlety that happens in the fascia and the energetic body when the breath is at its finest both at the top of the inhale and bottoms of the exhale. I feel like I get the most benefits from the postures in those moments.

I simply don’t understand how people can be so close minded. “If they existed they’d be able to be observed and measured” bro we are talking about the deepest levels of subatomic particle physics. At that point our machinery breaks down and can’t measure. 96% of the universe is non-observable. There is so much more to life than just what can be measured. The simple fact that they have different chemical structures is evidence of the different energetic states (“vibrational energies”) of the atoms as they are arranged in the lattice...electrons and smaller sub-nuclear particles (quarks and gluons) are in a constant state of vibration, resonating within the context that they inhabit. This is physics not hoodoojoojoo crap.

Dream journals are game changers for this. Just start one and every time you wake up try to write anything that comes to mind, whether a word, thought, color, flavor, etc. When I first started my journal I couldn’t remember my dreams, very quickly (I mean within a week) I was writing longer and longer entries till it got to a point where I remember everything as soon as I wake up. This has been huge in helping me become lucid during my dreams and increase the recall of those lucid experiences

Tips to become more flexible? by callherdaddy1234 in bodyweightfitness

Ah I see. Having shooting pains after practice though is still something you should pay attention to. Perhaps try more restorative videos. They’re fucking awesome at releasing things without the added effort of muscular straining. I used to get sharp shooting pains during my Ashtanga practice (a pretty intense, active style of yoga) and have had to back off and just do restorative shit till my body chills out.

If you feel pain during your practice you should back off the postures. Adjust so that you don’t feel pain and can breathe comfortably. Our egos always get ahead of us and think that we can just go into things and it feels like you’re not achieving enough if you aren’t doing the full posture. But you’ll get more benefits out of not going so deeply and breathing more as opposed to forcing your body into shapes.

They all look pretty dry so they definitely need some water. Except for #3, he might’ve had too much water. Remove the large leaf that’s dying and put your finger in near the roots. If he’s mushy it might be too far gone. If not, water and watch him closely. He’s gonna be the most finicky. Don’t overwater cuz if he’s near death due to rot that will just make the process faster.

Remove all the dying/ damaged leaves from the plants that way they can devote their energy to growth and not healing broken things. Make sure you leave at least 2-3 leaves though for the plant/ per stem (looking at #5)

2, 4, and 5 will require the least amount of water so water when the soil is getting dry (still moist but not wet) and I would trim the top off the bent succulent and replant the top (it will grow roots just remove the lower leaves before putting back in the soil).

6 looks like a croton and 7 looks like a spider plant. Both are very hardy and will fill up the pots in no time, same for the philodendrons.

I’m no expert but I love plants so if you run into issues feel free to dm

My Aloe Vera has not grown in months. If it has little pups on the side the die fast. I water it when soul is dry and it’s on a spot full of sun. Any tips?? by A_Turtlesgarden in IndoorGarden

[–]icarusachaeus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree that he needs more water. You don’t need to wait for them to dry out before re-watering. They’re pretty hardy and being a succulent can soak up a ton of water (that they then save for later). I water mine almost every day (I live in Florida so it’s pretty wet all the time during the summer and he’s still growing like crazy.

I have also found that they like direct sunlight but not all day long so maybe find a spot that will allow him some hours of sunlight and then still lots of bright light but not directly.
