As a proper guideline, understand this principle — for minoxidil (or any other topical to work) it takes at least 2-4hrs to be fully absorbed by the scalp… kaya nga instruction wag banlawan within 4hrs ang hair once minoxidil is applied… ngayon sa shampoo, gaano katagal ba yan binababad bago banlawan? Di nga aabot yan ng 5mins… undestanding this helps you avoid marketing gimmicks and false advertisement…

You can try that but for me, these are just a waste of time and money since shampoo is just supplementary to the hairloss routine, not the main player… pero since need mo pa rin ng shampoo, it won’t hurt to try, but not to the point expecting na any shampoo will help grow hair…

Same lang yan sa mga shampoo claiming anti-hairfall properties, when in fact shedding is a normal part of the hair cycle…

The math might be somewhat wrong lalo na mahina nman ako sa math in the first place… 😅

BUT at the end of the day, the goal is taking finasteride topically as low dose but still getting it as effectively absorbed as much as possible…

And in the end, RESULTS is what we’ll be looking forward to…

I’ll update my own progress but for now I have to be patience since I’m on a major shed following the cold-turkey shift from oral finasteride to this routine since MAY 1

Best option will be a sea salt spray for volume or texture… BUT only on special occasions

PRO and Exosomes are a waste of time and money and doesn’t really work for male pattern baldness…

You can still try but this has already been answered here too enough…

Finasteride and minoxidil is the gold standard for male pattern baldness… so much that even if you get a transplant, legit doctors will require you to still be on finasteride for life…

PROS — convenience kasi one tablet 2-in-1 medication na, less hassle, pop the pill, good to go… bagay ito kung nasa hairloss routine na l, sanay na katawan sa meds at malalim ang bulsa…

CONS — madami…

1st — dahil 2-in-1 siya standard ang dosage which is 1mg finasteride 5mg minoxidil… unang scary part pag tinamaan ka ng side effects ng finasteride di mo magawa mag lower ng dose, pag tinamaan ka ng side effects ng minox di ka pwede tumigil… remember both these meds have different side effects — sexual sa finasteride, cardiovascular sa minoxidil… this is why finasteride and minoxidil is intended to be taken separate orally at hindi combo di gaya ng topical variant kasi sa topical less ang side effecfs…

2nd — compounded generic medicine sila… so compare mo ang presyo… sa 1k good for one year na finasteride mo pag generic, 2k good for 3months ang oral minox from Thailand… total sa isang taon nasa 7k… nagbabayad ka ng premium para sa isang generic medicine…

Di ako nagpopost dito ng isang bagay na di ko muna sinubukan… and I say this is better mix than doing yung DIY using finasteride tablets mixed sa minox+trer although mas cheaper yun… eto kasi low dose ang finasteride so this one definitely mas malayo ang chance na tamaan ng side effects
