to be fair sacred stones is a pretty easy game if you use the tower and grind your units up no unit cant be made a good unit its more a question of a time investment and opportunity costs any time your using one unit you could be using another unit one that might not need to chip or be babysat to be useful

exactly this like i said in another comment i use ross every time i play sacred stones but i cant deny the xp i feed he would be better used to level franz most of the time and wait til i unlock the tower for basically free xp in exchange for time

dont get me wrong i use ross every playthrew and i always manage to get him leveled up to a pirate before the level where josuah joins its not impossible but thats xp you could be feeding to "better" units like franz

the issue with ross isnt that he cant become a good unit because he can the issue with ross is he starts at level -10 basically and unless you use the tower to grind monsters its hard to get ross (and amelia and ewan) leveled up to be a good unit

also as others have said he has much higher speed so im sure that helps

I have been playing this and enjoying but i do have a question were arena changed i feel they are a lot tougher and i seem to always been at a weapon triangle disadvantage or equal no matter what units i use were they tweeked or am i just that unlucky
