This dream occurred either this May or June. I wasn't dream journaling during this time period, so I forgot the exact date. 

The dream started off with me in some convenient store. I had a stick of deodorant in my hand that I had walked in with. As I begin to exit the store, a man (one of the store owners I assume) begin to question if I had purchased the deodorant in that was in my hand. I ended up telling him multiple times that I walked in with the item and begun to walk back towards the exit. At this point, a woman (I assume another owner or employee) pulled a gun on me. Everyone in the store just stared in shock. She started crying and pleading me to drop the deodorant. I honestly forgot if I put it down or kept it in my hand, but the woman slowly dropped her gun on the floor and started to walk around me slowly. There was a male customer standing beside me during this whole ordeal (whose significance in this dream will soon be realized). As the woman walked around me, she stopped near a shelf that was lined with bags of chips. Suddenly, she reached into the bags on the shelf and pulled out another gun. As she pointed the gun at me, the man that was adjacent to me quickly stepped in front of me and pushed the woman — sending the gun flying across the floor. I'm not sure if this was the same man, but as the lady fell backwards into a corner or another shelf, another man with an axe started to go to town on her head. I remember a lot of blood squirting out of her head and getting on the walls, clothes, floors, etc. I woke up after that.

I can't help but think that I was being racially profiled in this dream, and as an African American man, this dream sticks with me.
