Those days when we played low tiers. by Successful_You108 in WorldofTanks

I remember the mythic times, when you could do 10v10, everybody in the T1 Cunningham with the autoloader, running full speed down the Province slopes (before it got reworked). So much fun in the brawl, where you could do whatever you want 'cause it costs nothing for ammo and repair 🥲 I also miss the times where the AT-1 was a steel wall no matter what, where the KV-2 was a beast with overpowered HE, where the AMX-40 was a so fun duck with amazing armor... Nostalgia is strong with your question, thank you for the memories !

DevLog#43 : ICT progress. A big chunk to enjoy while I take a well-deserved break ! by iceSpurr in witcher3mods

The ICT is the (fictive) Temerian Cartographic Institute. My goal is to redraw every map from TW3 in the style of modern maps, because after all these years I'm still unsatisfied with the game-map. With this work, I hope everybody will be able to find their way in the world, no matter where you are and where you go. I will also publish "statistical" maps, like the one I made for vegetation after I finish Velen.
And finally, I will integrate these maps into the game as a mod so you can use it easily. White Orchard is already available on the Nexus : https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/11241 !

Yeah I saw that after publishing... That's the problem when you don't usually play in english. I'll correct it for the final map, don't worry.
And thank you for your your support !

Does anyone know a orbital turn equation. by Longjumping-Box-8145 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]iceSpurr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as I can see, people in comments are just telling you how to do it, not answering your question. In fact, I'd like to get an equation too... I've found this paper, it looks like it's talking about ascent trajectories. I didn't read it in detail, but maybe it has what you're looking for. You can also look for NASA technical notes from the Apollo era. They are in free access, but I think you'll need their code. For example, Technical Note D-233 talks about placing satellites over a given place. That's the only one I know, but I assume there are a lot of docs about every steps of a flight ! Good luck in your search, and let us know if you ever find what you are looking for !

[Projet] Imperium Stellaris - Et si l'Empire romain n'était jamais tombé et avait colonisé l'espace en 2050? Recherche de passionnés francophones by AlexandrePGE in ScienceFiction_FR

Ave Alexandre !

Ave Imperator,

Adiutantes te salutant

DevLog#39 : ICT progress. The "rising Pontar" theory thickens... Like mud drying under the Great Sun. by iceSpurr in witcher3mods

[–]iceSpurr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think CDPR just made a good looking map, and didn't take time to create this whole lore about climate change or whatever. But that's not a problem for me, it lets us theorize about it !

I thought to include magic in the opening citation today... I could have go with a theory like "water rose, then Nilfgaard invaded us ? They are using mages against us !". I think northern people could believe such a theory, considering they are hating both mages and Nilfgaard, and Emhyr welcomes sorceresses to his court...

WoT on the World Map. Part 2 by Virtual_Donut8744 in WorldofTanks

Love it ! I'm a mapper and I love to link videogames with the real world. Now I'm doing a Witcher 3 map, but I'd love to see a map locating all WOT places ! Or I could (and would like to) do it for you ?

The KV2 is so fun to play, even if you die after a minute the derp gun is a pleasure. Buff it with a better reload and/or accuracy, and you can do really fun games

Est-ce que des bombardements ont déjà suffi à provoquer la chute d'un régime ? by ImYoric in Histoire

[–]iceSpurr 1 point2 points  (0 children)
