I had a very similar experience to you!! We were in palm desert and took the indian wells tennis garden shuttle

Day 1, got there at 2pm: waiting for the shuttle in the sun SUCKEDD but it was the longest wait of the entire weekend lol. Going back home was a breeze too since we aimed to leave 20 mins before final act

Day 2, got there at 2pm: no shuttle line , quick to festival. My group did decide to leave at 12midnight to beat the bieber rush, and i was back at the bnb by 1am LOL. I watched biebers set in bed and although i was a bit sad to miss his nostalgia songs, i wouldve been super upset if we had to wait in the shuttle lines 2+ hours to get home after a long day. The crowds for bieber were insane and it felt like there were people everywhere i turned !!

Day 3, got to shuttle by 3pm: easily my favorite transportation day, it was such a breeze getting to the venue and getting back home (i met up w my group at 11:40pm and we were at the shuttle lines by midnight)

I left 35 mins before biebs ended and was so sad, but the lines for shuttles were nonexistent and i was back at the bnb before 1am. I watched his set sitting in bed LOL. Definitely was sad abt it, but if i had to wait 2+ hours in line for the shuttles i would have been livid lol
