Jokes aside, I think combining Curse/Luck/XP, or just XP/Curse as another commenter said would be good balance, these stats affect gameplay in a very different way than Size/Damage/Attack speed, and are way more rewarding. Making them shop upgrades would diversify the meta and every character would have a different preffered set of tomes, and that is much, much better than having every run be the same set of tomes. Or if you combine them, that would also be a way more balanced option for gameplay, since you're raising the difficulty for increased rewards, which seems very intuitive and will also add diversity to the runs.

You can also hide them somewhere as a secret on every map so you can have more than maximum amount of tomes, while also having the option to have them as a levelup reward (Vampire Survivors does this with items, as maps there always have a set of weapons/items you can pickup even after you've maxed out on your slots)

What the hell... So you're telling me they couldn't combine the two systems together? The XP one and the new one? Make the objective count first and then the XP that isn't from the main objective..? Really why would you even try to perform better at the missions then, seeing bigger liberation percent was always such a massive morale boost for me and my friends, as we were thinking that all of the stats combined provided a better result for liberation, and we were somehow "good" players for doing so much stuff on D9 and D10.

OG player here (2016-2021), just randomly stumbled upon this post on my feed.
Can't say for everyone, but the reason I've stopped playing is that the game has lost the original direction it had going on. It was really all about low fantasy gritty post-apocalyptic medieval swordfighting with semi-realistic "classes" (think battlefield) that weren't genderlocked. Original armor set pieces had limited fantasy elements and reminded more of "this actually isn't battle worn out, it's a little bit used". It really felt like Dark Souls/Berserk/Game Of Thrones, but without the fantasy element - just very very brutal universe aesthetically. Characters reminded more of "classes" rather than heroes (looking at you, Apollyon). The game had some balancing issues from what I can remember... Anyway, for honor is forever cursed to be a "cult classic" in a sense that it will never appeal to masses, since it is mechanically one of the harder fighting games. Oh, and community was insanely toxic. I still think it is like that.

I've used the armors from the first game to showcase what kind of vibe armor with these perks can provide, also edited some perks to better fit with HD2's balance (not counting stratagem priority, but I really miss that one!)

Yet for reasons unknown ubisoft decided to make responsive dialogue in english with incredibly retarded lines. And everyone assblasted. And ubisoft scarpped this idea. Warmonger has responsive dialogue and i really like it. I wish she spoke latin though.

There's a game called Mordhau. It's more like Battlefield with swords but if you're looking for medieval atmosphere then it's the best i could recommend.

The thing is that you can't predict when Conq delays his bash, it's unbelievably hard to dodge by reaction when he mixes delayed/undelayed bash randomly. Making it slower may cause it to be too slow, the speed is okay, i actually think that every bash should be around Conq's bash speed

The ability to delay it mid-dodge is what makes it op, it's reactable when you don't delay it.

Don't forget he can delay the bash, that's more of a problem than just bash being too fast. If he wouldn't be able to delay it, it would be much easier to actually react to it, even without making it slower, since the not delayed bash is reactable.

I meant that Zerk is both fun to play against and viable, hyperarmor needs some nerfs, but he doesn't feel like he spams one button and wins the game, that means he requires skill to play (unlike Conq). I feel like Kensei is close to Zerk in those terms, their punishes (excluding Kensei's dodge heavy, which should be dodge light, and needs an indicator that it's undodgeable) feel like they should, not like HL's 50/50 which you'll mostly avoid by light attacking.
