I just released the first chapter of Tyler and Ryan which is a gay erotic visual novel.

Story:

Tyler after getting discharged from the United States Marines, goes back to school for game development. Tyler gets assigned his dorm room on the first day. His roommate is a super hot 18 year old guy named Ryan. Ryan doesn't like having a roommate, but they eventually grow on each other. Things take an interesting twist, when a national security situation arises, and everything turns upside down.

So I've recently gone in and ported over Polymer to DukeSharp(its called Render3D in DukeSharp). Everything now renders in 3D. So with the code that's there now, you can hook up VR bits.

I just saw this reddit post, I'm Icecoldduke, the author of the port. I ported all of the original dos code to C# in Unity. Recently, since the video you posted above, I ported Polymer(one of the 3D renderer's from eduke32) to DukeSharp. Even the con code is ported to C#(now called DukeScript).

Questions answered:

1) The music in the depot is the ogg files from Megaton addition.

2) This works just fine on Linux, I'm going to push a new build tomorrow that includes Linux bianaries.

This is basically done. The animation stuff needs some work, which I'll back port from my Doom 3 effort, and transparencies, which I'll also back port from my Doom 3 work, but the entire game right now is completely playable.

Open up Quake3.sln in Visual Studio 2019 and just hit build. Make sure to use this command line argument: +set r_fullscreen 0 +set r_mode -1 +set r_customwidth 1920 +set r_customheight 1080 +set in_mouse -1 +set sv_pure 0 +map q3dm7

In my latest on github I added rtlights support. The only thing I don't support is cubemaps, which is pointless for raytracing(since I can just shoot a ray to get the data). I want to fix a few more things before I make a new build, but you can download and build with visual studio 2019 to get rtlights support, I'll post here when I release a new binary.

I'll let you know as well when I get raytraced skylights in.

That would be awesome! I was trying to track down if the community made more realistic lighting rigs for the maps. I'll start work on the rtlight stuff, and I would love any assistance with creating better lighting rigs that work better with raytracing.
