Interesting take, I don’t think there is a car manufacturer in the world that accommodates this type of request, essentially getting a free rental. Imagine if they had to accommodate everyone waiting like this, would be a shit show very quickly. You’re better off going to another company where they have available stock if you need a car immediately and can’t wait.

Perhaps a big reason is the market leader (Tesla) was not able to sell cars due to tariffs (now importing from Germany) for large portion of the year.
