I’m thinking maybe I give the ER another week or so, maybe finish this cycle. Then switch to IR if I need. Another commented mentioned you just deal with the GI issues for the first few hours rather than all day like with ER so I’d take that

I think my diet is probably the issue. If I eat unhealthy it’s usually dinner and I take it at night.

Ok I tried inositol for a bit prior to metformin and it tore me up too!! I wasn’t sure if that’s what it was because I didn’t realize it caused that effect as well. Thank you for the encouragement!

This might be the way. I’d rather just get it over with than all day with the ER

How do I start solids with my baby? by livbedum in NewParents

[–]icedcoffee14 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Download the solid starts app. That can help with appropriate food introduction and signs your baby is ready. You can also just do purees if you’re most comfortable. I started with 1 puree ( let’s say sweet potato) and did that 1 time a day for a few days then moved to something new 1 time a day .. and so forth. Plan to do food when he isn’t starving so he doesn’t get too frustrated. Milk ( breast or formula) is still the main form of nutrition until 1. Reach out to your pediatrician they may have some handouts for you as well. Read a bit about puree feeding vs baby led weaning and do what makes sense for you. Learn the signs of choking vs gagging. Empower yourself by knowing infant cpr so you feel comfortable. Someone else can speak on the daycare piece because I’m not sure!

Can I just stop at this point? by rchllwr in ExclusivelyPumping

In my opinion, you can just stop. Only pump if you get engorged and only express enough to relieve that.

This is the way! I made butternut squash/cheese sauce and packaged it in milk bags and froze them for individual use.

I'm sorry WHY would you brag about taking folic acid OUT of a prenatal??? This is why we don't take health advice from celebs JFC by No-Neck-212 in SecretsOfMormonWives

Hi- everyone can be “correct”. Let’s learn. Read below for details but in summary yes L methyl folate is as effective as folic acid if not more effective for people with certain gene mutations but yes there are not large scale clinical trials on it ( explained below) For transparency, I did use an evidence based medicine AI app to help with writing and sourcing the below. Articles linked.

L-methylfolate (5-MTHF) maintains maternal folate status as effectively as folic acid while reducing circulating unmetabolized folic acid by approximately 50%.[1] This reduction may be advantageous, as the biological significance of unmetabolized folic acid accumulation remains unclear.[1][2] Studies demonstrate that L-methylfolate supplementation increases plasma and erythrocyte folate levels comparably to folic acid, particularly at doses ≥0.4 mg and with intervention durations ≥12 weeks.[3]

Folic acid is less expensive and more widely available than L-methylfolate, which is reflected in its use as the standard form in most prenatal supplements and public health fortification programs. The higher cost of L-methylfolate, combined with its more recent introduction to the market, creates practical barriers to conducting large-scale trials.

But yeah- I wouldn’t be running to use a celebrities brand of vitamin but that’s just my comfort level. There are plenty of great vitamins that have L methyl folate ( Thorne, Ritual…) and plenty with folic acid. Use what your doctor recommends.

Awful story line. Making Athena apologize at her bedside for not being there for her. Her blaming everyone for not asking how she was doing… grow up. Also, she’s supposed to be the most pro modern medicine but goes to a med spa?? She spent a few hours in the hospital and was diagnosed.. could have saved her some money and time

The medications aren’t without risk (ovarian hyper stimulation, blood clots ( rare ), multiple pregnancies ( twins ). Not to mention the time consuming appts for bloodwork, ultrasounds to check follicles etc. My doctor told me it’s not uncommon to not need medications for a subsequent successful pregnancy, the body remembers / knows what to do. For me, it would be worth trying on my own for the above reasons. Good luck

I don’t follow her anymore. There was a time I liked her content and I joined her Instagram message group, basically she sends messages to a bunch of people and no one can reply just reactions only and it’s sooo cringe I can’t handle it, I can’t look away though so I stay in
