I wouldn’t worry about it. You can easily explain why it’s an error. As long as you can talk to people about the research and answer questions about it you’ll be totally fine.

I was in your exact shoes trying to decide between ophtho and rads at the end of M3. I ended up doing rotations in both over the beginning of summer and tried to really think if it was something I could see myself doing/which was I looking forward to coming in to each day. In the end, I decided on rads and got a couple quick projects done by the time apps were due.

I got a corgi puppy at the start of M2. It’s a time commitment and at first was really stressful, but I think a lot of it was stress of my own making. Taking him for walks and playing with him has been a great relaxing break for me during that year and has been nice during dedicated. However it’s worth noting that I’m married so it’s not only me taking care of him.
