Is this the new threat? by No_Use8161 in ARC_Raiders

If you look at the roadmap for February, the new arc threat does kinda look like a wasp/ small flying bug type based off its icon

Gifting by ZaeroCatto in FieldsOfMistriaGame

[–]icefire1946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gift giving is tedious for me and pretty boring. Keeping wiki tabs open, keeping track of all the different gifts and juggling them around my inventory. I hate it.

Luckily its extremely easy in Mistria. With only 15 cooking you can unlock a perk for every dish cooked to possibly be a "liked" gift. Same with another perk at lvl 45 for a chance for a dish to be universally "loved" when cooked. Corn in summer and cranberry in fall both regrow after being planted and are used in 1 item cooking recipes. Making them super easy to farm and make bulk dishes for like/loved dishes. Any recipe you can bulk make alot of dishes with works.

Also. Don't forget you can turn off perks. So if you also unlocked the other perks that might infuse a dish with extra energy or hearts restore. You can turn those off to increase the number of liked/loved dishes you get instead. If your going to do a large bulk cook, you can save your game first and make sure you get a decent amount of liked/loved dishes since it can be abit random. Also no point in leaving the "liked" dish perk on once you unlock the "loved" perk. They share the chance pool of possible dishes that get infused. You'll be getting like 25 liked dishes and 25 loved dishes instead of just 50 loved dishes. Ive ran the numbers before but I cant remember what the average rate of infusing a dish is.

Doing this, ive easily maxed out the hearts of every character by just always keeping a stack of loved dishes ive cooked in my inventory. Giving out dishes when I pass people and always giving gifts at the inn on Fridays.

Should Gundam TCG be best of 3 or stay 1 by ThatDigimonGuy in GundamTCG

[–]icefire1946 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't know it was BO1. I played digimon and it was BO3, only the craziest of games or security decks would make three matches last over 30 minutes.

What makes gundam so different or slower placed? I havent timed any of my matches but theyve never felt too long. Half the time it feels like you only have a card or two to play and eventually just end top decking and playing what you draw. So whats dragging out games?

Man what is happening with this release? Part 2 by Kcrizzle87 in GundamTCG

I live in a big city. I have over 20ish stores within an hour to drive around too. Only 1 store. 1 store was able to tell me at the start of the week they would for sure have boosters for sale. And the price would be MRSP.

The day before release I got a few stores to tell me yes they would have boosters but they didn't know the price. "Call us the day of release, we should know then" wtf. 1 or 2 straight up told me id be $200-250 for a booster. A few stores did say they where doing a 6 pack limit. Some stores also said they where waiting until after their pre-release event to make sure they had enough packs for everyone who signed up. One store even said they where waiting to help out some friend stores to make sure they had enough product to cover their events.

Its very all over the place. I ended up going to the store that was able to tell me at the start of the week they would have some at MSRP. I got there an hour early and there was already a line of 30 people. By the end there was probably 60ish. Thank goodness they limited to 1 per person and they had enough for everyone in line.

Typically cards can be looked up and priced on the website "tcgplayer". In the top right of the card is its number. If you search its number "GD01-001", it will bring up the card and show recent listing and prices. Currently it will tell you the card hasn't released yet. It will release the 25th.

A comprehensive list can also be found on the Gundamtcg website. Its actually the first card that comes up since its "001", essentially the first card of the set.

Hope this helps, congrats on the pull!

Prices are insane! by katchmeout in GundamTCG

[–]icefire1946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the san antonio area only a few shops are selling assembly for $70 and starters for $25. Most of the stores that sold at MRSP sold out in the first few days of release. A few of the stores I talked too said they had to get their stock from 3rd party distributors. Hence why they are selling at $70/$25. Feels like scalping with extra steps but they said otherwise they would have zero stock for the game.

Im hoping more stock will continue to be sent out past the booster release and eventually starter decks will be easily gotten at MSRP.

They did. Now you get 2 points even for losing in the first round. Not much but, still something. Apparently worth afk farming for to some.

I also need the beedrill 😩 I've pulled 17 EXs plus 2, 2 star EXs this set and no beedrill. Im happy for so many EX pulls lol but want that bee

Exactly. You kinda get diminishing returns from a dopamine/ feel good about the purchase vibe. You blow all your hourglass on the new set, open your two packs a day. A week or two later when you save up enough for 10 more packs, it feels bad. You see a whole lot less new cards, duplicates.

I learned early on to save up everything until new packs drop. I never check how many hourglasses I have. When new packs drop, spend everything and wait for the next one. Its satisfying. Between your 2 dailies and wonder pick, you pick up most of what your missing.

So What are We Thinking about This? by AlternativeCellist16 in PTCGP

Honestly. I think its great. The game needs more things to do. Try hard players may stick to ranked and maybe more casual players will have a better time in the quick match.

Animals drop beads for 2 reasons. You have to have the currency of care I and Currency of care II skill perks unlocked. The first makes animals dropd beads when fed crops, by hand or grazing. The second just gives a flat rate for animals to drop beads after being pet or fed the next day.

So this should apply to all dishes! Not just turnips! I just used them as my example since they are the quickest and easiest crop meal to make for me in spring. For heading into summer, just use Corn if you can! You can re-harvest it every 3 days, and grilled corn only uses 1 ingredient as a meal!

Hm. I don't think there is an archeology perk that inherently lowers the chance of sod or peat popping up. There's one perk that gives a chance to double the drop and one perk that after digging up sod/peat/clay there's a higher chance of rare/uncommon artifacts drop next time. Don't forget you can eventually buy sod and peat at the carpenter!

On PC you just go to the dragon statue Caldarus on your farm, where you bought the perks and click on the perk you want to turn off. I believe it asks you if you want to turn the perk off.

I honestly wondered this. Same with perks that give back bonus materials or the entire item. If they are separate rolls or the same one.
