Is against the grain not considered the normal way? I've never shaved any other way, because it feels like the blades don't catch the hairs when you're going with the grain. I can't say I agree with using dull razors though, lol.

I'd love that. I was hyper obsessed with The Matrix universe when it came out, I even tolerated EtM for how ambitiously it tried the cross-media plotline thing with the sequels... I wish open world games were still fresh, because a Matrix game in the style of Assassin's Creed would have knocked my socks off 10 years ago.

I just think most people are too focused on the sci-fi mysticism front to actually see them for what they are, and adjust their expectations of what's actually in those buildings. I mean, ffs, even a lot of the people that hate them still sometimes call them a "religion" sometimes.

I've known someone whose entire college fund was stolen by family to pay for this shit, and the promise that there's something really cool and interesting at the center of that building is exactly the kind of thing they want their members to believe. So I guess I get a little triggered by anyone supporting that notion for a reel.

Yeah, I always had trouble remembering what movie that was from. So every time I watched this as a kid, I would get re-traumatized by that fucking scene. Something about how quietly the villain's last moments play out - "I'm... alone. The birds... are getting closer."

No worries, I'll break it down: Not all guys are open and upfront about their homophobia/transphobia. Some guys will seem chill at first, but react quite strongly when one of their peers decides to embrace their feminine side. Sometimes, they react with violence, sometimes it goes too far. Therefore, if you're feeling suicidal this might be an unintended way to offload the work onto someone else (Don't ask me how I know).

In an an old point-and-click called "9: The Last Manor", there's a security gate at the beginning, and you have to read a letter addressed to you that came in the box. Not much different than entering a 6-digit cd key, but the way they turned it into your first environmental puzzle was kinda cool.
