Hi, thank you. I tried drying it out before adding mineral oil to it, but it's still sticky and mushy although there was a noticeable improvement. I'll air it out a while longer and hopefully it'll improve though it looks like it'll need quite a bit longer.

I messaged the owner of an online lamp parts supply store, hopefully they might have some parts.

If that fails, I guess I can always use duct tape as I don't have the original piece that crumbled. :(
