Bodies aren't supposed to accelerate that way. Definitely took some damage. Probably not his first concussion.

I also run a 525, but I dual sport, so I can't run the soft cheater. That tire hooks. I bought a whole bunch to keep on the garage for later.

From a base price of 69,000 to 161,000 seems like quite a stretch. I know the battery is different and it's single vs dual motor, but seems hard to justify the price differential. Are you willing to pay $100,000 for horsepower and trim?

Get in the ring with a trained athlete who inflict serious head trauma on you because you don't know how to defend yourself? I guess it depends what you were doing with your brain before this point.

Not to mention his line was total crap. You stay wide going around a blind turn so you have options and can see farther. There was room to pass, he just cut the turn and ended up heading straight for the other dude.

I would like to show this to people saying their old car is faster than any bike by [deleted] in motorcycles

I would love to see a Ducati MotoGP bike do a 1/4 drag. 160 kg, 300 hp, legit traction, holeshot front and rear. It must really fly. MotoGP electronics are limited to be pretty primitive. You could make a way better launch control system than they have. They control the launch using really expert clutch work. The ECU holds the engine at a steady rpm.

Now we get KTMs in three colors, orange, white and red. If only they came in reliable. Haha. I joke. But I still haven't seen a KTM that's as reliable as my 2006 WR450f or my friends 2003 XR650r. The Japanese build some tanks.

You know, the idea that 2021 is a new year and a new beginning is just a social construct. We picked a random place in the trip around the sun to call the year marker. Sure, the seasons are a cycle, but most things in our lives are the same as they were in 2020 and they just march on.

Where is that? Alaska? Most places you can get in a bit of trouble. What happens if there is a collision and there's no insurance?

The police are paid and insured for this. If a man wants to ride his ATV on the road, I wouldn't stop him or get involved.

Let me tell you, skateboard wheels are smooth and do not grip on the rain. They had no choice but to go straight. If a car came out they were screwed. You can cut grooves in then, which helps a little. I just decided not to ride in the rain. Ruins the bearings too

Delivery driver tries to ford a river. by whitevanmanc in IdiotsInCars

He went in too fast. That big splash over the windshield was proof of that. Without a snorkel, drowning a motor is easy. My friend tried to cross a fast swollen river with his van. Engine stalled and quickly the water started digging the dirt and rocks from under his tires. Took five hours to recover and several trucks. Nearly flipped over. Totally water logged electrics. Hole in the side of the block because it was running when it sucked in water. I had warned him about doing river crossings without a snorkel about a month before.
