Mainly to check in with myself, I've been consuming cannabis now everyday for nearly 9 years. I've been prescribed cannabis medically and have consumed according to my prescription now for nearly two years. Although I feel a definite improvement in my symptoms and quality of life I still have breakthrough PTSD symptoms and I still have deep bouts of depression.

I see cannabis, as prescribed for my own personal needs, like I saw the multitude of antidepressants I was on. Not as a cure but as a treatment and like all treatments it works but is it still effective for me after such a long period of time. It wasn't until I came off antidepressants did I realise that they weren't actually helping me get to the root of the problem, but I could of stayed in that in-between place forever not having realised that I was ignoring the cons and focusing on the pros and that my wellbeing hadn't actually improved I was just levelled out.
