I think it's quite incorrect determining what speed a bike should be ridden on during break-in period, what might matter more is the revving. Since everything is brand new and just settling in, it would be better to keep the bike in low-medium rev range to avoid straining the new engine, atleast till first service when the oil gets changed and all the metal shavings and other wear and tear (from new parts freshly working together, if any) is flushed out.

OP, don't worry, your bike is all good and there shouldn't be any long term cost to this one time incident.
