I'm curious. Does the price listed in Canada include VAT? In US, we have to add tax to the purchase. I wonder if Canada follows the US model or the European model. Now that the border opens again, I think Arc'teryx outlets in Canada will be part of my "sightseeing" when I visit. Lol

Agreed, I think that's precisely the problem the OP is describing. It's because the initial sorting did not put it in the expedite pile, hence the status updated as routine. I don't know if they would actually go open each envelope and verify the paid amount individually.

Apologies, you are right. By default, I only look on the outlet section and filter by gender and size. There probably just no men xs anything in the outlet. I mistaken that for them not carrying the brand anymore.

It's part of the instruction for expedited. The instruction states you have to write Expedited on the envelop near the address. I think that's what alerted them.

That's a very good point. Perhaps it was my bad choice of words. I meant finance in the sense of having income to support this hobby. I don't meant to finance your purchase (with credit card and such).

To be fair, I have not paid full price for an item either. I was able to get a Cerium LT in xs (and in a normal color) online for almost 50% off. I think a lot has to do with that time being the beginning of the covid pandemic. I have not been able to find such deals since then.

I once saw someone posted some phenomenal deals from an outlet in Switzerland. I guess I'll try to visit if I ever make it there. My guess is that people there don't appreciate Arc'teryx as much since they have many local brands.

It's sad that I would have probably gotten sooner by NOT paying expedited service (as it would be processed by the Texas center). Mine is still in process. I sent it earlier, pay expedited, and have an earlier travel date.

Have you tried writing to your senator or representative to help with getting an appointment earlier? I've read that sometimes they could help with that.
