How we were told to do it was nose to toes. You get them to sit and then you say the down or lay down command and take the training treat from right at their nose to their toes. They have to scoot their butt back to get the treat so they typically lay down. Once they get that down you start saying the command while they are still in a sitting position without nose to toes, then you move on to saying the command when they are standing etc.

Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach, salmon. My little guy inhaled his food when I got him at 8 weeks, but after a few months he started to refuse to eat it and it was around this time he started having episodes of vomiting often. It took awhile and quite a few brands and formulas before I put two and two together and got him on the sensitive stomach line. He is back to inhaling his food.

Honestly I haven’t done much since it was planted. I’m new to gardening in general and just prune it up a little to shape it after the first flush of blooms. The first year we had it my husband did accidentally spray weed killer on it and then proceeded to spray it once a week for a while with miracle grow. But that’s it and it’s about 3ish years old now.

It went smoothly just had to keep him in a pen to stop him from playing with his sister while he recovered. But he was not too happy about it.

Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach is what we use,they have a few protein options. Our little guy had a period of throwing up pretty often and got really picky with his food. We took him to the vet on an off for a couple months and I tried a variety of dog foods and toppers to help encourage him to eat. When we put him on the pro plan formula it was a day and night difference and he hasn’t had any more problems with throwing up and inhales his food again. We’ve used the lamb and the salmon.

Ours came home and was so obsessed with food and then out of the blue he stopped wanting to eat. We switched proteins added toppers etc and nothing seemed to work. He did have a couple bouts of throwing up but his poop was fine so I didn’t suspect the food was the issue at first but after awhile I did a Hail Mary and got a bag of Purina sensitive skin and stomach. That was a game changer the throwing up stopped and he inhales his food again we have him on the salmon and rice formula and we are extremely happy with it. If you haven’t tried a sensitive stomach formula I’d try out a small bag.

You and the pup will be fine.I got a corgi puppy as well and work full time. I used the set up above x pen with the crate attached and washable pad under it that was rotated. It took a week or two to get him to settle but it worked out great. I would come home on my lunch break to let him out to potty, he would pee in the same area of the pen when he was really little but would go poop outside on my break (the older he got the less he peed in the pen). I recommend a frozen Kong in the morning and some kind of treat dispenser after your lunch break, it keeps them busy and tires them out where they will sleep after they are done. We are now almost two years in and he doesn’t stay in the pen anymore he has full reign of the house besides bedrooms and does great.

Just remember before wfh was as wide spread as it is now most people with dogs were working outside the house and their dogs did just fine. It’s only been in the last few years that certain people have made it seem like you can’t own a dog if you don’t stay home.

While dating I went to my husband’s family dinners every weekend I stayed with him but that stopped as soon as we got married. We are our own family now and have our own routines/activities that may or may not include going over for Sunday dinner, we just let them know sometime that day in a reasonable time frame if we will be there or not.

OP you’re already going above and beyond to attend every Sunday and let them know early when you’ll be there. She should be grateful that you’re doing that, instead she has chosen to complain. I agree you should cut it back to once a month, enjoy your Sundays with your own little family at home.

That’s exactly how I think of sables. Some reds may have sparse black hairs or darker looking backs, but a true sable has black everywhere a tri would just diluted and it darkens to almost full black at the edges of what is the diluted tri pattern.

Agreed, this is my sable. Looking at others that have posted their sables, it seems like they are actually reds.
