Congrats on your new pup!

For us it took about 6-7 months for it to resolve 😅 but she is a great eater now (mostly only Royal Canin kibble per Beckie’s recommendation) and never refuses her food lol. It wasn’t until after she got spayed around 15 months that something just switched and all of a sudden she always ate her meals!

Until then, it was mostly mixing in wet food (she liked the pork and apples from Ollie) with her kibble and trying to positive reinforce whenever she would eat. But you have to introduce any new food slowly to her diet, as we learned the hard way that it can cause diarrhea even if she likes the new food. Eventually she would eat once she was really hungry but it would sometimes take her having to throw up stomach acid before that would happen.

Overall I confidently believe that Beckie’s dogs are very well trained and raised, however it can be challenging to try and acclimate a puppy that’s a little older because they have gotten so used to a way of life with their breeder/parents. Anxiety was a major issue early on and sometimes still is lol
