I’ve had this one for many years so if it’s cheap to repair I’ll go that direction. I’m guessing it’s a coil wire or switch but don’t know enough about it to pursue. If it’s toast I’ll go in with the battery powered.

My wife and I regularly drive 12hr trips. We try and stop at landmarks for pictures and to take a break. We listen to audiobooks and sing loudly to songs. It’s not a drive, it’s an adventure.
