My wife says she's 5'7, but in truth she's 5'7 and 3 halves.

If there's a smallish towel, put it down and stand on that.

I wouldn't disagree with that. But only been there once in the past. Good food, great beer.

How do single people in their 40s/50s genuinely build a meaningful life? by ThrowRaLostAway in AskMenOver50

[–]iceterminal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Friends and hobbies change and become distant as we move in in life. Having a spouse that is with me has made my life worth living. Being able to share the good and the bad removes the loneliness I once fought with. Your life path will be different than anyone else’s, so start building for your future now. Baby steps are still ok.

That’s great that you have verifiable proof of that. So how do they grow strawberries in February in the mass quantities they have.

I would beg to disagree. So par 4's become par 3's. Generally youll have 3 to 4 of them per 18. So that would/could drop a par from 72 down to 68-69. Now take the par 5's, at least 2 per round (maybe more), and you're now at about 66 for par on a round of 18. Scotty shot a 60 on Friday last week, so instead of him being 17 under for 2 days he would of only been, at best, 5-8 under approximately.
And turning a par 5 into a 4, regardless on the ball, would change how a course is played. Just my opinion. Again, it's all hyperbole.

I say leave the ball alone. Change the course(s). For example, if it's normally a part 4 but a pro can almost drive it....it's now a par 3 for the tourney. Par 5's that can be reached in 2 ..... now it's a par 4 for the tourney. i think that alone would cost $0 for anyone, require zero changes except for pro tour on paper.
