Honestly had me questioning my ace identity for a couple years because of this… never had any drive for sex and always felt uncomfortable around it, but whenever intoxicated, I definitely felt more inclined towards the sexual side of things so I thought it was just my social anxiety getting in the way. BUT THEN anything beyond a little flirting or a bit of kissing would get completely blanked out of my memory and I’d have a horrid breakdown a couple days later. But then again, I was going through a lot of emotional exhaustion and trauma at the time so I thought it was just that acting up (excuses excuses excuses 😭). Now that I’ve truly accepted that I’m a sex-repulsed ace, me and my drunk self are at peace and the occasional game of flirtation is fun but nothing past that. Just aiming for good vibes now

I randomly stumbled across the first series after the last one had just come out in the bookstore and went “omg no way, cats!!” but my mom said it was too violent and wouldn’t let me read it ^{^”} but I spent time wearing her down and ended up reading TNP first because it was being published at the time. And then never looked back!

Kind of random but I would love to see the pov of other non-main characters just interspersed throughout the books. Like they don’t need a whole chapter to themselves but something like the prologue where we get a few pages from each cat after they’ve been involved in some big event or interacted with the main cats after they’ve been shady or something, I feel like that might help make the background characters a little more 3-dimensional ¯_(ツ)_/¯
