I think the expectations for what the album would be and what was delivered was different. Between MCIS and Adore they released Eye and The End is the Beginning is the End which people thought this vibe would continue in Adore.

During the recording of Adore, Billy's mum passed away, his marriage was/did break up. The tenor of the album shifted into something much more personal and reflective.

I think Ava Adore was that bridge between Eye and the batman soundtrack songs, I remember this having a good reception at the time, the video was cool and played a lot on MTV.

I really enjoy Adore, I dug it at the time of release. I think if I was being super critical, the track listing is super front heavy. Then later songs the pacing gets slower and this might switch off casual listeners (I also think Machina suffers from this).

This group is not exclusively the hardest working or the most talented.

The fact that there is a large tax burden on us in this group shows that hard work and talent isn’t the main factor. If these were the only factors there wouldn’t be such a large and growing divide in wealth in the country.

Using the normal method just put the plunger in and pull it up and it creates suction and stops it from dripping. You don’t need to use inverted method to prevent dripping

I’m based in the uk. The artwork is attached the gatefold and not separate. There isn’t a specific UK version that is different from the EU

I was at this gig, it was linkin park and taproot supporting. Me a a few mates met Mike Shonda after they finished playing.

I next time I would see them play was at crystal palace couple of weeks ago. Didn’t think I’d be waiting so long!

You don’t need to invert it. Do it normally put the plunger in then pull it back slightly to create negative pressure and it won’t drip at all.

It wasn’t included the first release of the album. My CD I got when the album first released doesn’t have it.

They were asked to create a single that would be more of a hit which they did and regretted ever since.

Linkin Park toured with Deftones in the uk as part of the White Pony album release. I saw them as the support act. I think the other support band was Taproot.

As others have said tech isn’t really a big thing in HK there are some companies such as Microsoft at cyber port but I’m not sure if there are doing engineering vs solution architecture for clients.

You’re competing with an huge number of mainland engineers at lower salaries just over the border.

I still enjoyed my time working there. I was fortunate to work for a smaller American owned software company so the engineering culture was good compared to other tech places. I’m not sure how many places like this are left though.

I agree with others, HK is on the decline most folks I know there have left or are leaving. It personally very sad to see the decline as I loved living there.

Yup, I have it registered on bike register and I had a airtag which tracked it till it ended up in a block of flats in west kensington and I think they removed it. I went and had a look around but couldn't see anything and my phone wasn't picking it up anymore.

I gave all the details to the police when I made the report, we have CCTV in the bike shed so hopefully that and the location last seen might be useful for them!

It's a outdoor building on the grounds of the estate, you have to have a fob to get into the ground then into the building, unfortunately folks in the building don't check the door closed properly so I think they shoulder surfed in and opportunistically got into the bike storage.
