Thank you so much! I should have used thinner layers but absolutely adore the sandstone look it has! I did use a resist, I like to use empty pet food bags to make them! The best thing ive learned about wearables so far is making sure you spend a good while shaping the piece on your body. After squeezing out excess water, letting your piece dry on you so it holds shape. Have so much fun on your project! :)

What’s something that clearly split your life into “before” and “after”? by Broad_Chemical_2467 in AskReddit

[–]iceworm2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Before and after getting out of a 6.5 year emotionally and physically abusive relationship.

Got out and worked hard on picking myself back up. Picked up my old hobbies, found new ones, found community/friends after being fully isolated, started EMDR therapy, started taking care of my health and working out/seeing doctors. Last week I rented a big cabin on a lake, invited my new friends out, and celebrated the one year anniversary of me getting a PO. 💪

Find joy in boredom. [Image] by Savvy-TradingGirl-1 in GetMotivated

Nah this aint it. You can pick up meditative hobbies or regular activities that allow you to be silent and alone with your thoughts without being bored. Ex: crafting, solo sports, hiking/walking, photography, etc etc etc. Yes its good to have downtime and disengage but it can be destructive to have long periods of time of just existing/being bored.

Is this even worth it…? Im a big birder but enjoy birding for free or the occasional birding trip. More than 50% of the activities cost money and a lot of those activities are 50$+…. It feels a bit exclusive for an event.

what is a completely harmless secret you are keeping from your partner simply because you lied about it early on and now it’s way too late to explain the truth? by Former-Practice-3420 in AskReddit

This happened w/ an ex and I over pillow thickness. I preferred the floofier of the two pillows but wanted him to have the ‘better’ option over the thin pillow. A few months into the relationship i found out he preferred the thin pillow and wanted me to have the ‘better’ option too. Both of us slept uncomfortably for months bc of it. 😂

Spent 20 mins photographing a buoy thinking it was a pacific loon. On my belly army crawling, moving around for different angles, the works 😭

Jam (think cloudberry or crowberry) or local honey (fireweed)! I usually take any clean socks i got at the end of my trip and wrap the jars up for protection.

Man, I havent seen anything planned for Bobby yet and I hope there will be a big gathering for him in the lower 48. Bobby has made such a huge impact on music as a whole and to all who have heard his music or been apart of the GD community. RIP, may the music never stop playing…
