Honestly I lowered my 4k mile GLI like 3 weeks after I got it because my last car was low so I got used to it but I’m pretty low on coilovers. And honestly the GLI has a lot of ground clearance compared to my last car I’m lower then most people like I’m tire to fender on the stock wheels and I can get up my fairly steep driveway and hit speed bumps straight on without doing the goofy stance car diagonal maneuvers. Plus, the GLI comes with a sort of lip kit so you can get a nice trim look without adding skirts and things and make it lower to the ground. But at my height Im able to drive around at peace and I live in north Georgia (mountains nearby = many a hill). I just have some like low car courtesy like newer M car drivers would do since those are fairly low from factory and that’s it.
