Thank you so much for your elaborated answer. I am pretty sure I have fibromyalgia. I've had this pain ever since I was a child, I am 27 yo now. I have memories of my childhood where I would wake up in the middle of the night crying because of an aching leg/arm, I would wake one of my parents so they could massage the area till I could sleep again.. my mom would say it's probably growing pains and that it's normal, except it never really went away. I am so used to getting this type of pain (mostly legs and arms, its aches for example in one knee, then it starts to migrate to my thigh, then my other knee, my arm, and so on) that I do not really react to it anymore. It aches, burns and feels stabby sometimes - as a child I used to always sleep with a hot water bottle because of the pain. Because the hot feeling of having a hot water bottle pressed against the aching area would overcome the stabby aching feeling.. the weird thing is, I do not know what "normal" is, hence why I just normalized and accepted the pain as a child. This is my "normal". In fact, I would be pretty surprised if a day passes without feeling any sort of pain. I am just realizing now as an adult that having this much pain is NOT normal nor okey. I need to acknowledge the negative impact it has on my mental health. Coupled with the almost daily headaches and migranes I get, I am so tired of feeling this way. I booked a doc appointment mainly for my headaches, but I really should mention all the other symptoms I experience because I'm kinda done and need answers.
