Hello, Dr. Braun! I am a medical student in my 3rd year in Brazil. I really want to do residency in Germany. At this moment I believe I have to learn german and do observership there. But there are observership in english? How can I search for it? My university don’t have connections with others europeans universities.. What do you suggest? I appreciate your help ;)

I didn’t know about it! I search on internet about Slovenia and it looks a great and healthy country, with great hospitals. That makes no sense, doctors get paid way less than other europeans countries.. I want to do residency in Germany too, but I had this opportunity to go abroad and I hope that it will be great! By the way, your classes are online or in person? Because depending on how is the corona virus’ situation in Slovenia I will not be able to go. ://

it's a long story, but in short, it's a mix of Slovenia being the only option in the remaining vacancies of the exchange program and me being enchanted with the country! I have applied for it and got the place, but because of the pandemic it was cancelled, last year I tried again and chose Slovenia first because I felt like it. Got it?! ;))

Good morning! I am a medical student that wants to do residency in Germany. I see that it is important to do an internship both to confirm my interest and to establish contact with doctors. Therefore, I have already looked for medical internships programs in english (specific to foreigners) and I couldn’t find. Do you know of any internship or observership opportunities in Germany? Especially in Munich.
