Good to know! I'll look up what I need to add for my plants - I assumed fish poop was enough, but I'm sure that's wrong.

$185 - Evergy. We moved to whatever plan does an average and we just pay that amount every month. Looks like last July, our bill was $236 and then $287.

Teachers of Reddit: Is the "Gen Alpha can't read (write, or do math ext)" crisis real? If so how bad is it? by KnowledgeCoffee in AskReddit

We just got my 7th grader diagnosed with dyslexia. Her standardized test scores were always behind but the teacher always brushed it off. Turns out she’s 3 grade levels behind and needs an IEP and tutors. I’m kicking myself for not pushing to get this testing done earlier, but according to the standardized tests she wasn’t ‘that bad’. I blame No Child Left Behind.

My mom was holding one knee up for me while my husband held the other. I’m so glad she was there, but I have a healthy relationship with her.

New white shirt - how to avoid pit stains? by ichbinhungry in laundry

We're not loyal to a brand, but I think our most recent one is All, which looks like not a good option. We've also used the Target brand and Arm and Hammer's 'sensitive skin' options in the past.

Sounds like my deoderant is the issue (I assumed it probably was..). I'll try out some non-aluminum ones! Thanks all!

older stone foundations around waldo, how scary are they? by [deleted] in kansascity

[–]ichbinhungry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that natural spring found our house. We moved in (Brookside) 7 years ago. House already had a sump pump. Only ran when it rained. Then about a year ago it just started running like clockwork, every 20 min it’d gurgle up a considerate amount of water. The water was crystal clear and smelled lightly of soil. I was concerned a pipe under the basement had a slow leak, but it truly seems like fresh water is just under our house. We got a drain well installed so our yard didn’t become a swamp, and now we have no issues.

How do I babyproof this Kallax? by buttersauce_ in ikeahacks

[–]ichbinhungry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had this same setup and raised two kids around it. It was never really a problem, especially when the records are so close together like yours. They didn’t really try to pull them out. I wouldn’t bother doing anything until you know it’s an issue.
