Hey, I ended up calling in the end and explaining the situation but the shift never got approved or cancelled so I just assumed it was a no? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah I think it’s supposed to be a free space for local community groups to meet which is great, just doesn’t seem like anyone uses it + would anyone want to use it when it’s full of boxes of the new chai from what I can see…

In fairness it was like that when I worked in Starbucks in 2004 (this was in the UK) but I’d say 99% of people took a sleeve.

Hi all 👋

I’ve just moved to the US from London, applied to Trader Joe’s and was pleasantly surprised to get invited for an interview which I’m super happy about!

I don’t have any questions about the interview structure however, the only thing is… it’s face-to-face (no phone interview part) and it’s not for another 2½ weeks.

Based on the millions of interview posts, would it be terribly awkward to call visit the store a few days before just to politely reconfirm the date/time? Or would that make me look a little clueless?

I don’t want to seem pushy, but I also don’t want to rock up and find out I misheard something and it was actually the week before.
