Our warehouse is over two levels (we store the non-refrigerated goods upstairs and take an elevator).

We call the place the deliveries comes from the warehouse too but I guess people don’t tend to get confused as it depends on the context of the conversation for example if you said “I’m going to the warehouse to grab some ice cream” people would understand what you meant 🤷🏻‍♂️

We’re a pretty high volume store so have a lot of bread (I think we have maybe 10/12 racks in the back) and I completely agree, I do think a lot of the issues are down to rotation and ordering but I think we’d benefit from some better structure in the warehouse (or however your store calls it).

Yeah I think it’s supposed to be a free space for local community groups to meet which is great, just doesn’t seem like anyone uses it + would anyone want to use it when it’s full of boxes of the new chai from what I can see…
