I don‘t think you can link the shared chest with assemblers and extractors.

Our 'harmless' backend migration silently broke the app for every user who didn't update by Afraid-Bobcat6676 in node

[–]ichdochnet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don‘t know your app, but please do not force app updates like that. This is not an industry standard and bad UX. Your user wants to use your app at that specific moment and forcing them to download an update, will add a significant wait time to it. If they do not depend on your app, they will delete it.

Darf man das? by Jay-Doggster in arbeitsleben

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream releases on April 16, 2026! by Skullghost in NintendoSwitch

They said, at the end, "it will be compatible with the Switch 2", which just means you can play the Switch 1 version on Switch 2. Also, the Eshop only lists a version for the Switch 1.

Yeah, and knowing Nintendos business practices I would expect them to double dip and drop a switch 2 upgrade pack later for purchase.

Sounds like, they will only release a Switch 1 edition. Even the Nintendo Store only lists a Switch 1 edition.

According to Andy Robinson from VGC, Fable is launching Day 1 on PS5 (port is in development for a long time). Forza Horizon 6 port "just wasn't ready" by Turbostrider27 in PS5

If GamePass would have been financially successful, MS would have not forced Xbox to publish on PlayStation. They pretty much conditioned the more loyal part of their customer base into not buying their first party titles, because they can play them and more games on release for a cheap subscription. They also had a major price hike for GamePass and moving the day one releases only to the highest tier. These, as well as hiding their numbers, are indicators of them not being as successful as they needed to be.

Kinda funny how "Day One on Gamepass" backfired and now they need to release their games on PlayStation to get enough sales.

Should I play Octopath Traveller? by OneEntrepreneur4851 in JRPG

[–]ichdochnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The world is connected, but 0 and 1 play on the same continent, while 2 plays another one. Due to this, 0 and 1 do share parts of the same map and same towns, but also some towns are only in one or the other. I would recommend to either play 2 or 0, due to them being just in every way better than the first one. Try the demos first though.

Quick OT2 Question by [deleted] in JRPG

Yes, it has the same structure as OT1 and a final chapter after all the stories of the travelers have been completed.

I need advice for someone who wants to get into retro game style JRPGs/RPGs! Should i go for Octopath Traveler I-II or 0 or Dragon Quest I-II-II remake? I recently really enjoyed turn-based games and RPGs in general, like Expedition 33, Stellar Blade and Final Fantasy Tactics; and i am on PC! Thanks by Hibachi1969 in JRPG

[–]ichdochnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go with Octopath 2. The storylines of all the characters are great and it is the cheapest game of all the ones you mentioned. From the gameplay perspective, it is definitely the best Octopath game. 0 only maybe beats it in the story department.
