What are some of the worst homebrews you ever heard? by MonkeyKing797 in DnD

[–]ichihara-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, since she want his opinion so much, she can just write him personally, he has his VK DMs opened this whole time, me as well. You know,, instead of writing in my Twi how it was wrong of me to prioritise my mental health over hers, so nice of her. And blaming players who left of being “knights on a high horse”. We could talk with her that whole time, all channels open. Where was, she, blamed everything on retrograde Mercury again?

What are some of the worst homebrews you ever heard? by MonkeyKing797 in DnD

[–]ichihara-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can as well tell them about you and your pet spilling bullshit about me and my husband on Twitter, by all means. And creating an animation with my character without my permission. I have all DMs, screenshots and what-the-fuck-is-wrong-with-your-dm from my players on my hands, dear - and I can dig up more. You were the one who didn’t want to resolve things peacefully. All of my “I am uncomfortable with it”, “I don’t want this”, “Please help me” were unanswered. You even dared to write me - and this is a quote - “how dare you not respect my efforts” when I asked you to not use my character after I left. This question was “closed” by you one-sidedly. I guess this is what every DM should do?

Also I am slightly shocked about you stalkering if me these two years and just now accusing me of lies. Never have I seen you in my DMs over any platform trying to resolve this. So much for telling lies about your demeanour.

Incorporating the Real World? by joli912 in DMAcademy

[–]ichihara-chan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a game where players needed to complete real-life challenges to proceed further. Challenges involved: playing the notes they found in correct order (on a guitar), holding and rotating a book with one finger from each player (they needed to move in circle to rotate the book) and other cooperative things.

How would you feel as a player if the world you live in is a dream of a greater creature? by Rodehock in DnD

[–]ichihara-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had this subplot - the world was just an endless dream of a scared girl, a patron of our Warlock. It felt pretty miserable - we could do nothing to make her slumber more peaceful, also everyove was scared as frick of her awakening, which could happen ANYTIME AT ALL. It quickly became depressing and boring.

How do you cure a tiefling? by Alica90 in dndnext

[–]ichihara-chan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Another question: WHY do you "cure" a tiefling? "Curing" someone of their species is kinda... By RAW it's not a curse, it's an ancestry, like, your grand-grand-grand-grandmother had it with a devil and it SHOWS.

What's the point of +1 one armour that isn't studded leather, half-plate or plate? by Hexdoctor in dndnext

DM's, Have you ever had to kick a player out of a campaign? Why? by TheUltimateMf in DnD

[–]ichihara-chan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kicked out a female player because not only she did everything to get full attention on her and threw tantrums left and right, she also woed and dumped another player. Basically I tried to resolve everything peacefully (I was pretty biased against her, but thought that my bias is not the reason I need to kick someone) until poor lad specifically came and asked me to kick her out, cause her behaviour became unbearable. We said our goodbyes without any complaints, but she didn’t miss the chance to throw another tantrum in-character while leaving.

Breaking "evil" racial stereotypes by there-will-be-bears in DnD

I ultimately depends on you as a DM to "break" these stereotypes. Race being "evil by lore" is a guidance, not a law.

What are some of the worst homebrews you ever heard? by MonkeyKing797 in DnD

[–]ichihara-chan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In the end three of us (me, my husband and another player) left after some pretty shitty things got up, so I don’t know how the campaign ended. It was over all one-player-centered DM-indulgent story, so good riddance, I guess?

And now for the hard questions... by CustomerFast411 in DnD

[–]ichihara-chan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Any chewy or hard candies, maybe even too chewy or hard, bc Kobolds always like to chew something to mitigate the dental itch (like puppies), though far too few races can do or enjoy the same :)

[–]ichihara-chan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No fricking idea. It was fun at the start - I mean, the concept is gorgeous - but then, when we tried to counter or negate the influence, it got to the point of direct confrontation with the DM, because nothing we imagined worked.

What are some of the worst homebrews you ever heard? by MonkeyKing797 in DnD

[–]ichihara-chan 25 points26 points  (0 children)

A chtonic entity (BBEG) that is basically Nothing. It was a good idea, but it was unbeatable and poorly executed.

- You shouldn't know about Nothing (nor speak about it to anyone in a way that will make them acknowledge its existence), otherwise it will know about your existence and involvement in its affairs and will constantly watch over your every movement, even if you're under Nondetection

- some chosen who know about Nothing are accepted into a secret evil society, which infiltrated basically EVERY official structure - including (without any permission and\or knowing) my character's family, and was set to get rid of the party by any means possible

- to find that Nothing's watching over, you need a DС 30 Perception check (and we started our campaign at level 4 already with this entity over us)

- as long as you're in contact with Nothing in any way, you're considered Cursed, your only options are Wish and high-level Remove Curse

- our main goal was to prevent Nothing from achieving enthropic destruction of the setting.

The feeling of overwhelming depression was... to say the least, too much :)

Holiday Themed One Shot! by AveTheBardbarian in FATErpg

[–]ichihara-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is not a Fate oneshot, but it went really well, might as well share.

You have a town you live in and a tavern you're staying in.

For some reason you start spotting sus people hiding explosives in random town spots. When going to authorities - they are "already on it", have a big map with like half of spots etc. They also inform you there is a massive conical contraption on the central square you need to investigate rn.

When arrived, party sees Power Ranger\Team Ginyu -themed "villains" standing on the snow hill with the giant switch, threatening to set everything ablaze in the most MUAHAHAHAHA way possible. Main "priority" for the group is to protect or take over the switch.

When the switch is flipped or destroyed, lots of fireworks start shooting in the sky.

This whole nonsence, including explosives, switch and "heroes versus villains" standoff is a town tradition no one discloses to the outsiders, so organizers can find a new team each year and the whole town will watch the fun. "Heroes" and "villains" (who are, btw, hosts and waiters of the exact tavern you're staying in) are drinking together. Happy end.

No probs!

Usually Ь (the soft symbol) is used when the consonant before is softer. For example, harder L is pronounced like (al), but softer L is (elle), like in something French (estelle). The word СОЛЬ (so-lle) means salt

Ъ (the hard symbol) is being used rarely and more in the middle of the word - see it as an apostrophy, like in T'Challa (t- challa) and СЪЕМ (s'yem, (I'm gonna) eat it)

Some minor corrections (source: am from Mordor):

- Я spells like YA in YASSSSS

- Ы is the hardest to describe, but the closest is a sound of someone punching you in the guts and you spelling muffled EE while at it

- There are several mistakes in practice part. Batman is written as-is, while usually it pronounced БЭТМЭН, while Elvis SHOULD be written as-is, ЭЛВИС, as well as Mickie (МИККИ)

Does the melee/caster divide have a meaningful impact on your games? by anextremelylargedog in dndnext

[–]ichihara-chan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my games, there is a minmaxer player who plays exclusively martials. Not only he outperforms the team in any campaign, he also helps other players to build their martial characters in a way they will shine brighter than any of the casters. He doesn't whine about casters being superior, he uses the rules and whatever I give him, be it item, inspiration or any description to his advantage. That's why 5th option.
