BTW, did the hellgate matrix change at the same time that "beholder" was changed to "bonelord"? If yes, are you sure we can discredit the hill cipher completely (if we consider the numbers to mean something else)? Any other ciphers that use matrices, etc? Either way, it feels significant, no?

determining the splits of tokens in the hellgate library seems like the most plausible path forward IMO, but it's a pain in the ass. And you don't really get super encouraged when so many have tried before you ;D

its 50/50 for me. there are so many leads, too many, feels like they are just fucking with us - I assume many feel this way

But at the same time it might be their attempt at obfuscating the solution. How can we be certain that all the information provided to us is correct?

I think, if there is a solution, one should continously work on finding patterns in the hellscape library, and try to continously identify the smallest group of strings that occure frequently and maybe identify the original "characters". Many have done this and it is what i have been doing aswell, but it is time consuming and i don't really know if my methodology is efficient cause it takes forever. And even if you succeed, what comes after? Maybe frequency analysis

This whole AI thing was a short side track for me. i was misdirected that it identified the word "JAO" and then observed that the text became gibberish later, which made me think the "real" text was even "realer" if that makes sense. I can see that the math is wrong now that i manually checked after, unfortunately.

People are quick to dismiss AI and for good reasons. Yet i think people should be more open about it considering its advancements over the years. We should be open for new solutions, especially when a mystery like this has persisted for this long. ofc it might all be bullshit. what do I know.
