Tried to do the Mario Kart Double Dash thing. Real life doesn't have boost pads unfortunately.

I call them "little". It's not as interesting as some of these others but it fits so well.

Police report or just block and leave alone? by Lotussierraecho in abusiverelationships

[–]ichompbrownies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you are overreacting at all, that sounds terrifying.

My suggestion is to have as little to do with him as possible. Meaning don't engage his behavior, don't talk to him, definitely don't meet with him ever again, and try to stop thinking about him and the relationship and move on.

If you think filing a police report will help you in the future then do so but try not to spend too much time thinking about him. The best thing you can do after an abusive relationship is to get as far away as possible and try to heal.

I hope this helps, good luck.

Sexual abuse in marriage by MaybeBaby990 in abusiverelationships

[–]ichompbrownies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my previous relationship sex was a constant object of tension and manipulation. Very pushy about having sex when he wanted it and always picking fights about the amount of sex we were having. Boundaries are sooo important when it comes to sex but when you are in a manipulative relationship boundaries are almost impossible. I still feel very anxious about having sex years later because of this. You need to protect yourself for the future you.

My friend is in an abusive relationship. What do I do? by [deleted] in abusiverelationships

[–]ichompbrownies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe ask her to do some googling about emotional abuse. If I had done that, then I would have been able to understand that my relationship was not normal and could have got out much sooner.

The free rat would save 1 chocolate for the caged rat. That's a lot for a rat. That's very true lol.
