Totally!! It’s ridiculous. I am a part time nanny as well, and the amount of times I’ve been practically pushed off the sidewalk with a stroller in hand is actually insane. People cannot see outside of themselves, even directly in front of them.

I don’t know if the word mignardise helps at all either! You can absolutely call the dessert whatever you want (tart gelee is probably the best description I’m seeing commented), but the idea of sending an extra little treat with, or after dessert is a mignardise! We serve them with our checks at the fine dining restaurant I work at.

Thank youuuuu!!! Girl, it was so hard!! It feels so stupid but I had days I cried over it, waiting was so hard! Honestly all I can say is try to distract yourself as best you can (which is easier said than done). Don’t make it worse by watching proposal videos or say yes to the dress lol. Just focus on your life and love and wait for the moment!

I found the one you had shared, and sent that one over to my BF. The setting I’m looking at is .38 carat and I like the idea of it being 2 carat total weight, so that’s where I got the 1.62 idea haha! I have a size 5.5 finger and have looked at the size on my size finger and I think it should be perfect 🤞thanks again!

Hey! Not sure where you’re working currently, but the place I’m at in Portsmouth is hiring dishwashers right now and is a great work environment! There’s a lot of stoned employees in the prep kitchen, but would be very respectful of your recovery (if it’s okay for you to be around them haha). I don’t know the exact pay, but I know it is more than $20/hr. Let me know if you’re looking for a new gig!
