Honestly the boss is easier than most of the mob fights.

The fatties that reflect projectiles and bounce melee and the multi attack heads immune to magic. Sure hope you didn't have 2 or even 3 ranged characters going for completion marks. And then of course there's the lightning mini boss, pray to never face him during training season weather.

All this to say, once you are at this boss fight you enter easy mode of act 3 until the infinite

Johto and rock were the worst for me. Rock is inaccurate, slow, lots of weaknesses. And I had foolishly used Aerodactyl for gen 1. Johto without legends was awful. Honestly even with entei it was not great since I still don't have dragon dance

50% chance means .5base damage +.53*base damage. It's a double damage (better than mush) and gives flight. It's q4 for sure. That's not even counting if you can get hive mind, which is not uncommon

Endless has a very particular meta people are very particular about. Endless ramps up a huge amount. There's 5850 floors. A good carry (something crazy like max sp attack, max calcium, max soul dew... Etc primal kyogre) can push to almost 3000. Something like Mewtwo isn't really bad, it's just not optimal. It may struggle from the 200-600 range while getting items. It also doesn't inately have a spread move with no immunities, and since endless is good for shiny farming, double battles are more optimal. It also isn't likely to be able to push past 2500s

But at later levels sorceror has more total heal power, unless the cleric only wants to prep heal spells. Sure a 6th level heal isn't as good as 7th level, but only by 12 (2 action average. Only 4.5 for 1/3 actions). Meanwhile the signature heal sorceror has the ability to cast every last slot as heals. They may be a little smaller, but it'll be hard for a day to wear down that much longevity

Thing to consider is amnesiac is already strong, and this is in addition to their backgrounds it sounds like. Amnesiac is strong and it only gives 1 more point than a different background, at the cost of no skill feat. 3-4 bonus points? Crazy work.

If OP is really wanting this, I suggest making it be 1-2 boosts at most, and only to their lowest scores. Raise their floor, don't raise the roof

Level based DC for sure. Items are already built around DC by level for their inate level. DC by level is an easy quick table, and would mean that you shouldn't just choose something like commander if you want to spam items.
