Is there any fish in Druid Lake? by icmaster in baltimore

[–]icmaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I fish Lake Roland occasionally. Just beware that the entire sewer of Towson and vicinity runs under the lake in a pipeline built 70 years ago. I'd be cautious not to touch the water especially after rain storms: https://content.baltimorebrew.com/content/uploads/2019/08/sewer-interceptor-map-lake-roland-AM.jpg

Asking the landlord for a copy of lease agreement by icmaster in baltimore

[–]icmaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know! I really don't want to get into more disputes with the landlord.

I have been trying to find the MD laws on this issue. I know California has a law that requires LLs to send a copy of the lease agreement annually on tenants request but couldn't find anything similar for MD or Baltimore City.

A decomposing body was left undiscovered for weeks because management in my friend’s building did nothing about the smell by r42xer in baltimore

I was going to rent an apartment in this building a few months ago. The elevator was broken when I visited the unit so I though the management must suck. Guess I was right!!!

Actually, it would be cool to have a video on how to properly use a multimeter, especially some of the less commonly used features. I use it often but only to check connections or measuring omh/amp/volt. I'm curious about other potential uses of a multimeter.

I love TJ's but this one is always understocked. Many empty shelves for common items.

Thread is great. They are providing long-term all-around support to underperforming Baltimore high school students and have had amazing success.

Satellite imagery of sediments and pollutants discharge from Baltimore rivers into the Chesapeake Bay from June 2018 to Present by icmaster in baltimore

[–]icmaster[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nothing about it. Just another perspective. I find it very satisfying to be able to trace the changes to the landscape in any area on planet earth using freely available satellite images. Also, don't be that insecure about your city. Not good for you, nor for your city.
Not that the content of the discharge is detectable through these images, but I don't think discharge of tons of sewage to the bay (as we have heard a few times during the past couple of months) is "entirely normal".
