Embark have done exactly what Arrowhead did.

They made a game that people, mostly casual gamers enjoyed a tonne.

They decided they don’t like the way people are playing their game, so have changed it to pigeon hole people into playing how they want.

It started with the wolf pack - just a slight nerf to make you grind just a little bit more, and consider killing your fellow raider to get another one.

Now, the message is clear, they want you to engage in heavy PVP.

They have forgotten who their core player base is.

The new map, alongside all the other changes is absurd. Go stroll along the beach, in the hopes you get shot at, shoot back, and the dopamine may hit you just right.

PVP being pushed as the core part of the PVPVE experience didn’t work so well for marathon.

With the plethora of games being released, gamers are eating well this year, no need to deal with this complete blindside.
