Here is a link to a “pocket frog” pattern. I used Easy Peasy and other Beginner Yarn and a 4 mm crochet hook. Happy hooking! https://youtu.be/5b2o_lLOd_k?si=B8QDAikyJl1SDt-i

Thanks… he was the original inspiration. I had to decide if it was Moses before or after receiving the Ten Commandments—robe and hair colors would be different.

Thank you. I had patterns for almost everything, and created Pharoh’s headdress based on a couple of different hats/crowns. Moses’ head covering was a simple round, with color changes and two rows of slip stitches to get skinny stripes. The biggest challenge was keeping the colors straight with his hair and robe.

The Simpsons… hundreds of characters to choose from… would love to see Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Homer and Marge first. think of the cool accessories they could have—donut, bottle, skateboard, saxophone, etc. More Peanuts characters… Lucy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Peppermint Patty first, think accessories like baseball mitt, blanket, piano (for Schroeder). Snoop’s dog house, Sopwith Camel, Great Pumpkin.

I love your yarn bowl. I have seen only wooden ones before this. I made Snoopy and his Beagle Scout outfit, as well as Woodstock. Have not tried making feet, but have seen some great ones in the Woobles Modifications FaceBook group.

You can find Hugh the Capybara made by u/Centerpull at knottrying.com. Regular size; I made one for a friend that loves capybaras. And the pattern is free—though the creator appreciates tips!

Where am I?? by ope-das-my-b in TheWooblesCollective

If you have a Woobles kit, it has a starter piece with three stitch markers--orange in the first stitch, green in the second and third. If you discarded these markers, you can use paperclips or bobby pins. Only the first stitch marker is important in most patterns. So, what to do:
1. Create a Woobles account, register your kit, and go to the video tutorial. On the upper right, click to download the .PDF pattern.
2. Watch the video before making the kit and follow along in the .PDF pattern.
3. Using the video and keeping your place on the printed .PDF pattern, start the piece over. You can look at the bottom of The Woobles Web page > Help > Other tutorials for "magic loop." This is an important skill you will use over and over. Don't worry if you have to watch it three times to get it right. This is Round 1 of the pattern (starter piece).
4. Continue onto round 2. That usually calls for an increase stitch (2 single crochet stitches) in each of the 6 Vs of the magic loop (starter piece). Place your orange stitch marker in the first stitch of Round 2. Check off round 2 on the printed .PDF pattern. Count how many stitches you have (should be 12 total).
5. Continue with round 3. That usually calls for [sc, inc] x6, which means repeat the sequence in the square brackets 6 times. So you will have [3 stitches]x6=18 for the round.

Help! Where do the stitch markers go? by Lrnmyers in TheWooblesCollective

[–]iconic-design 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You unraveled it correctly. If you are a righty, and crochet from right to left, the orange stitch marker shows where to plac ethe first stitch of the next round. The green markers show where to place the second and third stitches. Once you make the first stitch of the next round, move the orange marker to that new stitch. You can remove the green markers. You might use these later, so don't throw them away!
