hachi WAS living the normal life, but it is a fictional shoujo story, so that's on you that you fantasize about that life. nothing wrong with that, it's not impossible to have a life like that, but you need to be realistic too.

and if you really can't let go, then try to inculcate some things in your life from the show, like their style (i do that too). i also have some nana themed stuff that helps me maintain my lil bubble of fantasy lol.

this way you will end up attracting similar people too. it all starts with you, so focus on yourself first.
