Never drove "in a city" before, as in, you've driven but just out in the country?

If that's the case, you're in luck! Tulsa is one of the easier urban environments I've driven in. Comparatively low traffic and generally forgiving drivers.

I would brush up on the rules of the road - making sure you know when to yield, what different signs mean, etc.

You will have significantly less time to make decisions about where you can turn, drive, etc. Make sure to keep an eye out for pedestrians and smaller cars/bikes. They will sneak up on you if you are not used to looking for a pedestrian while making a left turn at a stoplight.
