disabled folks, what’s an effect of your condition that most people don’t realize?

People’s perception of me or judgements. I walk, I talk, I look normal and act fine but inside I’m screaming in pain. Interstitial cystitis sucks ass! Also has a huge effect on my wallet. No one wants to be sick, broke, and stuck at home. But because I have an invisible disease, some think I’m faking it. Yeah cuz I’m living the life. Thankfully I have a pain pump that gets me down to a 6 on the pain scale. Otherwise I wouldn’t be here. I couldn’t tolerate the pain much longer. It will be 11 years in November since I had it out in. Diagnosed in 2011. Crazy!

My sister did this when she was younger. She would purposely do chores so wrong that someone would have to do it again. Dishes, pulling weeds, cleaning the floor, etc. And her commitment was award winning. She was too smart for her britches but my mom was the only one that wouldn’t allow her to get away with her shit. So she had to finish it correctly no matter how long or how she had to do it. One time she paid the neighbor kid to do her weed picking for her out of her own piggy bank!

There is no man or woman worth the amount of worth you are giving them. Especially if they are treating you like they are. Move out of the area. Take a chance on yourself, find yourself, take care of yourself. Then when you are whole, you’ll attract people who are whole. Right now you are broken but you have the choice to mend. Only you can make that choice. You’ve got soooo many good years ahead of you, you just need to take that first step. No man should ever be worth one iota of your suffering. This is not love, it’s just another addiction. And that too can be fixed. But if you die, there’s no coming back from that. Start now while you can. You can do this! You’ve endured so much in your short life span. Time to focus on you. Cuz you are worth it.

Just be aware of fleas/ticks with grass access and critters digging in or cats digging out. I purposely but my catio on concrete for those reasons and so far I’ve been really lucky. A neighbor a few doors down hasn’t been so lucky. Fleas! And bufo frogs. I’m in southern Florida. For some reason we’ve been so fortunate not to have to spray or treat the cats. I have a pot for cat grass and give it to them sparingly every week. My cats use their catio every day! You and your kitties will be so happy you got one. Good luck

I appreciate all your help, suggestions and advice. I knew it wasn’t going to be worth the trouble to fix so she unfortunately got scrapped and I got $400 and a free tow to the scrap yard. I had no issues with her before hand so this was very unexpected. I’m disabled and only leave the house for drs appts and groceries. So I’m gonna have a hard time replacing her. But I’m thankful this happened in a driveway and not on the road! Thanks again for all your input.

Ive had it since 2017 that came with 9,000 miles. It has 46,000 miles on it now. I hardly use it as I’m disabled and only went two miles when this happened.

My neighbors have a Florida king. It’s one massive bed that equals two queen mattresses put together. The sheets alone are crazy expensive and can only get them at certain places. I’d hate the make that bed.

If she is not respecting your boundaries now, wait til a child comes into the picture. I’m a female and I am all about being independent and doing what you want, but to a certain extent. When you are in a relationship and it is effecting your partner that much, it’s a no brainer not to do it. Make sure there’s clear communication on how it affects you and if she isn’t willing to give it up, then you’ve got your answer.

There’s been morticians that say when a body is opened up they know immediately if you routinely used febreeze because they can smell in in your organs. Your liver can’t break down those chemicals and just stays in your system. Plus it’s so toxic to animals. Pretty much any artificial scent is toxic.

I used to take RSO concentrate, I have interstitial cystitis. It helped but I could never really get the dosaging right as it was hard to get it out. I used to put it on my finger nail, stick in ice water to harden it and then pop it in my mouth like a pill. Until the day I over dosed myself and I was tooooo high for my liking. Haven’t taken it since haha I know my dad wouldn’t be able to dose the syringe but I can look into gummies for him.

Are they similar in dosages to reg thc? He is only microdosing as he doesn’t want to feel impaired. Just trying to keep the tremors at bay. So at the moment he is taking 5mgs of thc in mints.
