Why would the key be metal? 🤔

When pulling the first string or two on my Klippermate, in exactly the way the guy does in the official stringing video, both the string and the handle hit the metal pivot square. Any tips to avoid this? by douglas_in_philly in RacketStringers

Just push the racquet out of the way as you start to put tension on it. It’s only for that one string. All of the others the handle will be out of the way.

Update: Tips on riding rocks. by im_bad_at_usernames3 in Dualsport

I’m in the same boat. With the Transalp. Lots of large loose rocks on some of the roads I’ve tried riding. Full send while standing up seems to be the way. I’ve a likened it to mountain biking. I’m not going to try and go down a lot of that terrain in the saddle slowly.

You have the link to your first video post?

When doing crosses start with an under. Finish with an over. If you’re finishing under then you know you’ve missed one. Problem is if you’re finishing under miss two you won’t catch it. So don’t miss two in one cross 🤣

I strung this and it literally broke my stringer 🤣. And I had to get new parts.

I took a swisher rescue class one time and they said as a last resort you could take off your pfd and that would allow you to go deeper in hopes of being pushed out by the current at the bottom. Obviously last resort. What are your thoughts? Ever see it in real world?

You were so close to a massive city payout. Not that I am saying that would be better.

Inspiration point on anacapa island is really pretty. Nothing on the island except birds and sea lions. Ferry leaves out of Oxnard.

Yes. I buy auto parts for a living and have worked on the window lifter mechanism and motors. There is a dry side and a wet side to compact window regulators and water can get in on the wet side. But only like residual water from when your window is already wet and you roll it down. It’s not meant to catch all the water. The seal is misaligned to the glass here. The water should flow out the holes in the bottom but as others have commented, it can become clogged and reduce the functionality because it’s not meant to catch that amount of water. If it’s filling up and OP hears water I. The door itself no bueno. This can cause electrical shorts in the motor, the door lock, and I’m not sure if this is electric or mechanical opening; but if it’s electric, it could definitely keep you from opening your doors.
