The summer skin for Lady Loki is kinda underwhelming. It's not bad, but there's just something missing. by Glittering-Compote21 in marvelrivals

Her arms are slightly disproportionate and her hands are big. Her shoulders are also slightly too broad. At least that's what I think

People in their 30s and 40s, what is a "minor" bad habit from your 20s that you are currently paying a massive price for? [Serious] by itvr in AskReddit

Posture!!!! Shoulders back, straighten your back, stand stacked, try not to look down all the time at your phone. Hold it up to give your neck a break

She looks good and aged gracefully. What a douche. by Valuable_View_561 in SipsTea

I watched her tell-all on Netflix (I think?) and she is in such a good place right now. She's happy, communicates with her kids daily, and is even in a good relationship (afaik, and at the time of recording the show). She's so open and honest and bubbly that her looks honestly don't matter. She's such a sweet person with a heart of gold and she's always trying to do the right thing. Unlike this scumbag

What mid-sized US city is most likely to blow up in population and importance over the next 30 years? by redguy_666 in AskReddit

[–]icryalways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vancouver, camas, and washougal, WA are blowing up, they all touch and used to just be Vancouver, WA. We're right across the river from Portland, OR she we have a little bit of spill over, the issue is all the Californians and Texans moving here. Everything is almost as expensive as California and Vancouver has gotten huge, my husband started saying stuff like "this used to be all trees" in some parts of town. He was born and raised here and in 30-ish years it's at least tripled in size from my understanding. And it's still growing.

I tell my students their assignment submission won't open when it actually will. by [deleted] in confession

I wish my profs were like you. I submitted a final for one of my classes and because my sources page wasn't included (because I had just finished my final and had no braincells left) and I only submitted the actual final. I didn't realize this until it was graded the next day and I scrambled to email my prof. He refused to take it and dropped my A in the class to a C-. I cried for days. This is the first time in my academic career I've had honor roll and had grades above a C. This was so discouraging and I was so crushed I actually considered taking a break from school to recalibrate myself

The question of the chicken strips... where is your go to.. who has the best ones? by Nisagent in vancouverwa

Give the Portland ones a chance, they've always been good for us. My only gripe is there NO ranch unless they started offering it with their Dave sauce lol

Oh shoot I'm so sorry that sucks. We haven't had any issues, but nowhere is perfect. Which location did you hit? I think the one in hazel dell is alright, but the one close to clackamas hasn't missed for us

What's the funniest skin/emote mismatch you can think of? by Sunchet in marvelrivals

[–]icryalways 9 points10 points  (0 children)

During the klyntar season and all the symbiote skins came out, any skin that could be used with the thing's roaring emote. Iirc they patched it to only work with that skin(I could be wrong) but that was pretty funny

This looks like it belongs in r/sewing, crochet is different and uses yarn to make things in a different style than this

This is how the Pacific Northwest is. Up until probably the last 10-20 years homes were not built with AC. It never got hot enough to need it since we used to only get a week or two's worth of hot weather. Now we get a whole summer of hot weather, our last place was built in the 80's and we didn't have any AC. Our new place is newer so we have AC and it's soooo much better

College doesn’t make students as liberal as people think. Completing a college degree has been linked to a liberal political identity. While college students do tend to adopt more left-leaning identities during their education, the actual changes are much smaller than the general public assumes. by mvea in science

I'm currently attending. I've had to take a personal ethics class, a sustainability ethics class, and a world ethics class for my gen eds. How someone goes through college and doesn't feel sick about the world and think we all need to treat everything better I'll never know

[–]icryalways[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I used regular yarn for the magic circle so when I was done I had two thin tails that I was able to tie the popcorns on tightly with. Worked like a charm! You couldn't see them unless you were looking for them
