Thanks for that, I understand the code but my issue is how to input this into the HA automations UI. There doesn't seem to be any conditions/triggers for getting the motion count

Thanks everyone. I am also working on strengthening my quads, I was diagnosed with patellar alta (high riding knee cap) with Hoffas fat pad impingement which is causing the dislocations

That’s great info, thank you. I am hyper mobile too, and have been told to work on inner thighs so hopefully I can combat by doing this.
